What are Some Inexpensive Ways to Get People to the Sign Up Page?
There are a number of inexpensive ways to get people to the sign up page of your list building effort, but only a few of them are really effective. Since I do not want to waste your time or mine, I will just discuss the effective ways of getting people to your sign up pages.
One of the most effective ways to get someone to your web site sign up page is to write articles and post them to the various online article directories. Simply write articles (I have written over 1000, so I know what it takes) that are related to the topic of your web site, and put a link in the article near the end offering some free gift to anyone who visits your site and joins your list.
Make the gift something of value to someone who is interested in your niche area online, and convert it into a pdf file so that it looks real professional.
Then submit those articles to the various online article directories. They will publish them for you for free, and you will get some of the best online traffic for free.
Another great way to get traffic to your web site is to write press releases. The process is much the same as writing articles write press releases describing your new book or web site, and send them to the various online press release companies. Most of them are free, although a few charge a nominal fee, which is probably worth paying. Be sure and put a link in them to your web site.
