The Future Of Autism - Part 1
Autism as been around for quite a while now and there are many sufferers around the world. We have tried our hardest to try and find a cure to this mental disorder but have failed so far. There are multiple treatments available but when weighing the pros and cons in the palm of your hand you soon realize that your child is better off not taking the drug. So what is the future of Autism? What will happen to this disorder which is starting to become more and more widespread? I will be discussing some of the possible outcomes of Autism in the future and what is most likely to happen as time moves forward.
I believe that as time goes by there will be an increase in autism sufferers, I think we will see it grow so big that eventually the government will notice and decide to take further action. Of course there are various charities and funds set up for autism sufferers, but they alone will probably not be able to make much change as a whole. I believe that the government will put some more funding into research on how to combat this disorder. And as time goes by I believe that a theory of how to cure this disorder will arise. And once this has been confirmed there will be further developments towards a cure. Once a cure finally comes around I believe that it will most likely be quite limited and very expensive, most autism sufferers will probably not be able to afford such a cure. However as year pass it is likely that the price would drop. No cure is made as of yet, but that is one possible scenario.
Another scenario however is that they do not find a definitive cure for this disorder, another alternative that may be come up with is therapy which can over time help autistic sufferers return to a normal lifestyle. Not completely but close enough, I definitely believe that this could happen, the reason being that we saw a similar treatment in the area of dyslexia. There was an introduction of some simple exercises which can be carried out to rid some forms of dyslexia and this gives much promise that something in the area of autism could arise. It may not be as effective as a direct cure but if a cure is not available it would be our only current choice.
But for now a cure for autism seems to be quite far off, there is a lot of research going into finding and developing a cure for autism but currently there has been no big progression towards a direct cure. We can find out how autism came about and what it does, but a cure is not close enough to grasp as of yet.
