List Building - The Two Step Plan for Building a Huge List
The experts make list building seem really hard. I guess it is so you will pay them $1500 for their super package on list building, make you an expert for $1500.
Hmmmmaybe I should take that backbut I really think it is true.
List building can be really easy.
You just have to know the basics, and then stay focused.
The two step plan:
Step 1) Create an opt in page
Step 2) Send traffic to the opt in page
That is all there is to it.
So how to create an opt in page:
If you do not already have an autoresponder, you are already behind. Get an autoresponder. Put the opt in html code from the autoresponder service on a web page that basically tells the visitor that if they opt in, they get some benefit. The benefit can be a newsletter, a free ebook, a free ecourse, etc. Take a look at my opt in pages at the end of this article. You can see they are quite simple, and yet they convert. The first one is currently converting at 44% and the second one at 35%.
Now how to send traffic to it.
Write articles. Give away a free ebook or ecourse. Post to forums. Buy Google Adwords. Do traffic exchanges, if you are just getting started. Trade mailings with other list builders. Whatever you do, do it big. Do you want 10 subscribers a day or 100? 100 or 300? The number of subscribers you receive everyday will be directly proportionate to the amount of traffic you send to your site.
