List building is a very important component of internet marketing. Rather than waiting for traffic to come to you, which it wont, start your own aggressive list building campaign. A word of caution. Youll run into all kinds of lists for sale information urging you to take the easy way, by purchasing your lists. Dont do it.
Buying ready made lists can get you into a lot of spamming trouble. Common sense will tell you, youre not the only one buying those lists. If many others are doing the same, how effective do you think these lists will be?

- Article Marketing: You can submit articles to any of a score of articles submission sites. There is no charge for this. Write articles that correspond to what your product is. Dont try to sell anything in your article. The articles sites allow a link to your website, so you can do your promoting there. Keep writing as many articles as you can, This can bring significant traffic to your site.
- Forums: Sign up for forums that are related to your site. Visit often and try to help others with problems if you have the answers. Include your url in any forum message activities you take part in. As people come to know you they will visit your site. Join as many forums as you can. Stay active.
If money is not a problem these methods may get you subscribers faster:
- Pay Per Click Advertising: You are probably familiar with those little blue boxes you see to the right of the screen when you search the engines. That is PPC. If you are going to use this method of building a list, make sure you study it thoroughly and know what youre doing. It is very effective for getting you traffic unless you dont know what youre doing. If that is the case, you can lose a lot of money.
- Ezine Advertising: There are many sites online who have their own ezines you can pay to submit advertising. If you use this type of advertising make sure the ezine you choose is right for your particular product. Shop for price.
