List Building 104-How to Build Traffic for Your List Building Campaign
List building can be one of the most lucrative ways to make money online. List building can be one of the most frustrating efforts you can make online, because it encompasses many areas in which you must do things right. If just one of the areas of list building is wrong, you will not be profitable. You can do everything right except your email writing, and you will make no money. You can do everything right but your squeeze page and you will make no money. You can do everything right but get the traffic wrong and you will make no money with list building. You get the picture. You have to do everything right in list building.
For this lesson, let us focus on generating traffic for your list building campaign.
What kind of traffic do you want? Sure, you can drive your traffic count up with guaranteed traffic of all sorts, but is that really what you want? What about advertising? Does advertising really work in list building? What kind of traffic really converts into leads that buy from you?
You see, I would rather have 100 visitors a day, have 50 of them become subscribers, and 20 of them buy something from me the first month, than to have 1000 visitors, get 20 of them as subscribers, and only 5 of them buy from me the first month. Even worse is the campaign that gets me 1000 visitors, half of them (500) subscribe, but only 10 of them buy from me the first month.
So what kind of traffic do I want?
I want traffic that wants to buy from me! I want traffic that is presold on me! I want traffic that already trusts me before they get to my web site!

Then they click through to my web page, encounter an irresistible free offer for more information just like the information they have just read in my article, and are compelled to subscribe.
