Ice, Smoke and Hot Spring
It is fun to travel, and there are growing number of people traveling to exotic area. Iceland is one of the places were you can experience all kinds of weather in one day, sun, snowing, rain and even all together. Iceland is probably the one country in Europe which is the most untouched country. You can find desert fjord, virgin highland and the biggest glazer in Europe.
When you arrive at the Keflavik airport you have to take a bus to Reykjavik for about 30 minutes. People sometimes get shocked because the trip to Reykjavik is traveling through lava and there is not much to see. The landscape is like you have landed on the moon. The first thing a first time visitors sometimes think where have I landed?. On the way to Reykjavik (which can be translated to smoke town), you can see smoke or steam rise to form the earth on your right site. This is the famous Blue Lagoon which is a must see when you visit Iceland.
Reykjavik is rapidly growing city and we have real houses like other cities, some years age people really thought we lived in show houses, which we have never done but it is only about 40-100 years since we came out of your mud houses which our forefathers have been living in for the last 1000 years. Or ever since we settled on this cold, but beautiful country.
Icelanders are friendly people that welcome tourist and are eager to help one to get around. Nearly every Icelander know some English so it is very easy to get direction from the locals.
Icelandic landscape is unique and something that you dont see any were else. When you travel to Iceland it is good thing to have warm clothes and good walking shoes.
Most traveler plan there stay in advanced and book there accommodation before they arrive. It is a growing way to stay in apartment. There are many added benefits of staying in an apartment, such as self-catering faculties more comfort and even more privacy and peace.
