How do You Get People to Sign Up, to Become Subscribers to Your List?

I will start right off by saying that I use the squeeze page method exclusively in my list building efforts. I believe it is one of the most profitable methods of building a list online.

You have taken a huge first step by adding the popin to your web page, and with a catalogue web site like yours, it is one of your best options. Obviously, if you have been reading my articles and my books, you know that I am a huge proponent of a squeeze page, and that my entire business is based on the squeeze page process. I literally force my visitors to become subscribers if they want access to my web site. I feel that if they are not willing to give me their name and email, they will never give me their credit card info, so why even entertain them?

I think the best incentive to entice someone to opt in to your email campaign is a free gift directly related to the niche in which they are searching. The free gift must be something they will value, and since they were looking for information when they landed on your web site, if you use information for the free gift, they will likely take you up on your offer.

I like to create an 8-10 page ebook that answers 5-7 of the biggest questions people have in their niche, and include those questions on my squeeze page, letting them know that I answer those questions in the ebook.

One thing that is really necessary is split testing all of your squeeze pages continue making changes to them until they get above a conversion rate of 50%. By continually tweaking your squeeze pages, you really can get to at least a 50% conversion rate, and that is where you really become successful list building.
